# Start Here

Three ways to use Nimbalyst: the Nimbalyst Wiki in Claude Code, Codex, Cowork, Cursor, or VS Code with no app, Nimbalyst Wiki Teams for your whole team, or the free Nimbalyst app. Pick one and go to its docs.

There are three ways to use Nimbalyst. They all work on the same files and pages, so you can start with one today and add the next later without moving anything.

### Nimbalyst Wiki

Add the [Nimbalyst Wiki](/wiki/) to the agents you already use: Claude Code, Codex (CLI or app), Cowork, Cursor, VS Code, or any other MCP agent. Your agents distill their work into a wiki of notes, open questions, and decisions, written as markdown files in your repo, and you read and edit it in your browser.

**Free, no app or account.** Go to the [Wiki docs](https://nimbalyst.com/docs/wiki/overview/).

### Nimbalyst Wiki Teams

Share the wiki with your team. Your agent moves your local wiki up in one step, then you, your teammates, and all of your agents work in the same pages in real time. Teammates read and edit in the browser with nothing to install.

**Paid, free during beta.** Go to the [Nimbalyst Wiki Teams docs](https://nimbalyst.com/docs/wiki/wiki-for-teams/).

### Nimbalyst App

A visual workspace on top of the Claude Code and Codex you already have: sessions, red/green diffs, visual editors for markdown, mockups, diagrams, and data, task tracking, git, and the same wiki in Wiki mode. With your team, it adds shared documents and trackers.

**Free, for macOS, Windows, and Linux.** Go to the [Nimbalyst App docs](https://nimbalyst.com/docs/getting-started/why-nimbalyst/).

### Not sure?

Start with the wiki in the agent you already use, whether that is Claude Code, the Codex app, Cowork, Cursor, or VS Code. Move it to Teams when other people need it. Download the app when you want visual editing of mockups, diagrams, and typed tables next to your sessions, tasks, and code. See [From Your Agent to the App to Your Team](https://nimbalyst.com/docs/wiki/from-agent-to-app-to-team/) for how the three fit together.
