# Invite Your Team

Invite teammates to your Nimbalyst team wiki by email or invite link, from your coding agent or the browser, and connect each teammate's Claude Code, Codex, or nim CLI to the same pages.

Once your wiki is on Nimbalyst Teams, invite the people who should read and edit it. Invited teammates sign in on the web and land in the wiki. They install nothing unless they want their own agents to write to it too.

### Invite from your coding agent

At the end of [Move Your Local Wiki to Teams](https://nimbalyst.com/docs/wiki/move-local-wiki-to-teams/), your agent offers to invite people. You can also ask at any time: "invite dana@example.com to the team wiki."

* **By email.** Type the addresses. Your agent repeats the exact list back and invites only after you confirm. Each person gets an email.
* **By invite link.** Your agent creates a link and tells you when it expires. Anyone with the link can join the team until then.

Invitees join as members with editor access to the project unless you ask for other roles. Only team admins and owners can invite; anyone else is told to ask an admin.

### Invite from the browser

In the web console at [console.nimbalyst.com](https://console.nimbalyst.com), open your organization's **Roles and members** page to invite people by email, change roles, remove members, and revoke invite links. See [Web Console](https://nimbalyst.com/docs/team-collaboration/web-console/).

### Roles

| Role | Can do |
| --- | --- |
| **Owner** | Everything, including billing and deleting the organization |
| **Admin** | Invite and remove members, change roles, connect repositories, manage settings |
| **Member** | Read, edit, and comment on the team's pages |
| **Viewer** or **guest** | Read only |

### What each teammate does

* **To read and edit in a browser:** accept the invite. Nothing to install.
* **To have Claude Code write to the team wiki:** install the Nimbalyst Wiki plugin and its team add-on with `/plugin install nimbalyst-wiki-team@nimbalyst-wiki`, restart Claude Code, run `/mcp`, choose `nimbalyst-team`, and pick **Authenticate**. In Codex, run `codex plugin add nimbalyst-wiki-team@nimbalyst-wiki`, then `codex mcp login nimbalyst-team`. Their agent then uses the same pages as yours.
* **To use the command line, or an agent such as Cursor or VS Code:** install the `nim` CLI and run `nim login`. `nim wiki` then reaches the team pages, and their agent can run the same commands. See [In Cursor, VS Code, Cowork, and other agents](https://nimbalyst.com/docs/wiki/agents-and-the-wiki/#in-cursor-vs-code-cowork-and-other-agents).
* **To use the Nimbalyst app:** sign in with the invited email. See [Use the Nimbalyst App with Your Team](https://nimbalyst.com/docs/wiki/app-with-your-team/).

Agents find the team project through the repository's git remote and the committed `.nimbalyst/wiki.json`. If a teammate's agent can't find the team wiki, check that they pulled that file and signed in with the invited email. See the [Wiki Plugin and nim CLI Reference](https://nimbalyst.com/docs/wiki/agents-and-the-wiki/).
