What Drives Us
Six beliefs behind Nimbalyst
Visual interfaces are the highest bandwidth
Humans read images, layouts, and color faster than text. The workspace around your agents should be visual by default, not a wall of terminal output.
We are all managers of agents
The job is shifting from writing every line to directing many agents at once. Every builder needs tools designed for that role.
Integration produces richer shared context
Agents do better work when humans and tools share the same context. One workspace beats six tabs glued together by copy and paste.
Open format. Open source. Local.
Your work belongs on your machine, in formats you can read, edit, and own. No lock-in, no surprise cloud dependencies.
Collaborate inline as you work
Reviews, comments, and AI edits live inside the document, not in a separate tool. Iteration should feel like a conversation, not a handoff.
It is your workspace. Extend and modify it.
Every team works differently. Nimbalyst is built on an extension platform so you can add the editors, integrations, and workflows you actually need.
