Delete Your Nimbalyst Account

This page explains how to delete your account for Nimbalyst, the desktop app and its iOS and Android companion apps, published by Nimbalyst, Inc. You can delete your account in the app or by email. You do not need the app installed to make a request.

How to delete your account

In the app

• Android or iOS: open Settings and tap Delete Account, then confirm.
• Desktop: open Settings > Accounts, and under Danger Zone click Delete Account, then type DELETE to confirm.

Deletion runs immediately and cannot be undone. It deletes the personal account you are signed in with for sync. If you use more than one personal account, repeat the steps for each one.

By email

Email support@nimbalyst.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm the request and process it within 30 days.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, we delete the following from our servers:

• Your sign-in account for personal sync
• Your synced session list, project list, and paired devices
• Push notification tokens for your devices
• Synced session transcripts, prompts, and attachments
• Links you created with Nimbalyst Share, and the content behind them
• Project documents synced to the mobile app
• Your account directory record (email address, name, and organization IDs)

Deleting your account signs the app out. Data stored on your own devices, such as your local sessions, projects, and files, is not removed from your computer. To remove the copy stored on your phone, uninstall the mobile app.

What is retained

Data	Retention
Project documents for projects not opened on the mobile app since October 10, 2026	Deletion may not find these. They are deleted automatically 90 days after they were last synced.
Product analytics (usage events, which never include session content)	Up to 7 years, then deleted or anonymized, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Server logs and operational metrics	Up to 3 months. These can include your account ID but not your session content.
Billing and payment records	7 years, to meet tax and accounting requirements.
Nimbalyst Teams content	Not removed by account deletion. Team documents, trackers, and memberships belong to the team. Ask a team admin to remove you, or email us to request removal.

Synced session data also expires on its own when you stop using sync. Session transcripts are deleted 14 days after their last activity, and session list entries after 30 days.
